There are different activities near Poroholma: mini golf, inland swimming pool Makis, frisbee golf and Petäjäs outdoor area.
Poroholma is located in the middle of the Otanlahti, which has family-friendly inland swimming pool Makis, many sports areas and Rauma’s summer theater. In addition, there is a regular City Train connection from Poroholma to Old Rauma. Next to Poroholma is also the beautiful Petäjäs area where you can go hiking or jogging.

Swim and enjoy the sun
Poroholma Holiday Resort has its own beach where you can enjoy the sun. There is a larger Otanlahti beach right next to the Holiday Resort.
Rauma inland swimming pool Rauma’s Makis is located about 100 m from Poroholma Resort. Pool depths: 50 cm, 120 cm and 2 m. The water is heated to 26 degrees. The inland pool is open throughout the summer season. Makis also offers mini golf.

City train Kake
Rauma's own pride, the culmination of current wisdom, the city train Kake runs between Old Rauma and the Poroholma Holiday rRsort in the summer.

Children's playground
Next to Aurinkorerassi Ruormies is a great playground for the youngest in the family. The playground has swings, a climbing stand and a playhouse.

Rent a city bike from Poroholma and get to know the beautiful seaside scenery nearby or the idyll of Old Rauma with it.
The bicycles are located next to Poroholma's reception.

Petäjäs outdoor area
The Petäjäs area, located next to Poroholma, has charming paths and barbecue spots near the beach. The path starts in the forest behind Blomqvist's tavern.

Outdoor sites in Rauma.In the years 1915-1917, Russian soldiers fortified Rauma's beaches. There was a fear of the Germans landing. One fortified area was the Petäjäs cape near the harbor. Even today, trenches cut into the rock and excavated cannon batteries can be found on the cape.
